This lens is a super-telephoto lens that’s designed to be lighter and more compact than previous 500mm lenses, thanks to the addition of the Phase Fresnel (PF) element. Weighing 3.21 pounds and measuring 9.3 inches in length, this lens is a significantly more portable iteration of the 500mm and offers a better and easier handheld shooting experience.
