The Samsung 990 Pro NVMe M.2 Internal SSD is announced on August 24th, 2022. The official release date for Samsung 990 Pro SSD is in October 2022. The 990 PRO provides an optimal balance of speed, power efficiency and reliability, making it an ideal choice for avid gamers and creative professionals seeking uninterrupted work and play. The SSDs come in three flavors, a 250 GB model, a 500 GB model, and a 1 TB model. Samsung 980 PRO SSDs has read and write speeds of up to 7450 MB/s & 6900 MB/s. The price is $179 for the 1TB model and $309 for the 2TB, a 4TB capacity version will become available from next year.
